Dear Waterlow,

We think your suggestion of a

weekly situation report from Hong Kong is an

admirable, one. We have telegraphed to the Governor

as in the enclosed copy.

How would it be to have a similar

report from Canton, if you do not already get one? We should then see both ends of the stick. If you agree, would it be better to have them both on the same date, or to have one at the end and the other in the middle of the week?
